Carrigaline Tidy Towns Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) are engaging in a survey of households to help with the drawing up of an Energy Masterplan for Carrigaline.
The survey will take only five minutes to complete.
The public response will inform the group on ways to assist residents in improving the energy efficiency of their own homes.
Chairman Liam Doyle said “At this stage we are looking for your help and assistance. The survey will collect information on energy use in your home and should take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your response will help us to build an overall energy profile of the Carrigaline community, and we will use the information to help us identify those areas in which the community should focus efforts to improve the efficiency of your homes. This survey will also help the Carrigaline SEC understand the communities travel behaviour, inform policy decisions, and justify investment in transport infrastructure”.
